Over the years I have seldom gone out just to take pictures of flowers. But since I prefer to take photos outdoors, I often have been finding myself unable to resist taking some pictures of flowers that just happend to be there.
"Seduced by their colors but also by their fragility."
How can something so vulnerable grow so sturdy, survive often severe weather - survival artists?
It is exaxtly the paradoxon between their obvious fragility and their resilience that made me choose the title of the following slideshow and it made me select the images.

Flowers remind us that we are allowed to look vulnerable, looks can deceive, what really is important is to be strong.
And flowers can tell a story.
